MRS Residence and Metropolis Foundation, together with Codin Maticiuc: commencement of works at the Ploiești Pediatric Emergency Department

In the fall of 2024, MRS Residence, in partnership with Codin Maticiuc and the Metropolis Foundation, began work on modernizing the Emergency Room (ER) of the Pediatric Hospital in Ploiești.

The initiative was launched following a charity concert organized by MRS Residence in the summer of 2023, which raised approximately €85,000, an amount subsequently doubled by the Metropolis Foundation as part of its "Public Hospitals from Private Funds" program.

Work began in October 2024, and in February 2025, representatives from MRS Residence and Codin Maticiuc visited the site to assess progress. The modernization includes state-of-the-art medical equipment, new installations (air conditioning, medical gases), furniture adapted to children's needs, and a more friendly and hygienic interior design.

This step reaffirms MRS Residence's commitment to the local community: we develop housing, but we also support the most vulnerable—children—through projects with real impact.
