MRS Residence and the Metropolis Foundation inaugurated the modernized pediatric emergency department of the Ploiești Hospital

In early April 2025, MRS Residence, in partnership with Codin Maticiuc and the Metropolis Foundation, officially inaugurated the new Pediatric Emergency Room (UPU) at the Pediatric Hospital in Ploiești.

After several months of intense work, the ward was completely transformed: new electrical and plumbing installations, air conditioning, modern medical furniture, medical gas systems, and a child-friendly design. The total investment exceeded €170,000, coming from private funds—part of which was raised at a charity event organized by MRS Residence and matched by the Metropolis Foundation.

This initiative is part of the "Public Hospitals from Private Funds" campaign, coordinated by Codin Maticiuc, and represents an example of effective collaboration between the private and medical sectors.

The inauguration was marked by emotion, gratitude, and optimism. It is proof that when the private sector gets involved, real change is possible—and state hospitals can look and function as they should.
